Tuesday Gentle / Therapeutic Yoga — Small Group
Tuesdays, 10:00–11:15 AM
A small, personalized class (maximum 7 participants) held in my home studio, with the option to join live online. Designed especially for adults 50+, this class focuses on improving mobility, strength, balance, and overall well-being in a safe, supportive environment.
Each session is different and works the whole body — including back care, hips, shoulders, posture, core stability, and relaxation. Movements may be done standing, seated, at the wall, on hands and knees, or lying down.
The class is gentle but can be adapted to be more challenging for those who wish. Participants are encouraged to move at their own pace and rest whenever needed
Thursday Gentle / Therapeutic Yoga — Supported Start (Small Group)
Thursdays, 10:00–11:15 AM
This small-group class begins with approximately 20–25 minutes of seated work using a chair to gently mobilize the body, improve posture, and prepare joints and muscles for movement. The chair is used as a supportive tool — not as a limitation — and participants consistently report feeling more comfortable and confident as the class progresses.
After the seated portion, we move to standing work (often using the chair or wall for support) and then to mat-based exercises similar to the Tuesday class.
Designed especially for adults 50+, this class focuses on improving mobility, strength, balance, and overall well-being in a safe, non-competitive environment.
The class is gentle but adaptable for those who want more challenge. No prior yoga experience is required, and participants are encouraged to move at their own pace and rest whenever needed.
